Breakfast Sliders

Makes: 12 servings

20 ounces pork sausage
8 slices bacon
8 medium eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon of chives
12 Love’s Sweet Rolls
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
5 tablespoons salted butter, divided
2 tablespoons maple syrup

1. Cook the pork sausage in a baking pan until done (about 25 minutes).
2. Cook the bacon in the oven until crispy (about 10 minutes).
3. Whisk eggs with milk, chives, and pepper, and scramble them in butter.
4. Slice the sweet rolls and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
5. Layer shredded cheese, cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, crumbled bacon, and more cheese over the rolls.
6. Top with the remaining roll halves.
7. Brush with a mixture of melted butter and maple syrup.
8. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden.
